One of my first tasks since we decided to move to Proxmox is to install a version of Windows 2016 Server. Unless you use a slow-performing IDE emulation, unsuited for databases, it is impossible. If I select the SCSI drive in Proxmox, the default, Windows cannot find a driver in the latest ISO...

Is it possible for a local user to log in to the Proxmox console and be attached to a windows guest GUI? Even if they have to log into linux and have that connection automatically connect to the windows os, that'd be a huge win.
My users don't know the first thing about linux, and...
I have been evaluating Proxmox in a small lab for nearly one year now. I decided to give it a try in production, for the upcoming W7 to W10 park migration.

Es gab auch schon eine handvoll Artikel im Netz zu finden, aber Windows 10 spezifisch

I recently got GPU passthrough working on one of my VMs and I'm delighted to say that everything appears to be working as it should, with one minor exception. I'm noticing some serious slowness in the IO/hard disk department. Sometimes the guest machine appears to be fine. Other times...
I'm trying to increase the size of the C drive of a Windows 10 guest VM, which uses VirtIO drivers.
I shut down the Windows guest and then resized the disk within Proxmox web UI, which went fine. After starting the guest back up, the disk still shows as the old size though, so I can't extend...
I'm trying to install a Win10 pro (both from ISO and automatic deployment) and it fails at this:

Just before the BSOD I see this:
Any ideas are very welcome!
