Windows 11 VM: USB Boot funktioniert nicht

Hallo zusammen,

Ich betreibe Proxmox in der aktuellen Version mit u.a. einer Windows 11 VM.
Der im Host eingesteckte bootfähige USB-Stick wird erkannt und richtig in die VM durchgereicht.

Der Stick bootet in eine physischen PC einwandfrei, in der VM jedoch nicht, weil er im Bootvorgang nicht erkannt wird.

Ich möchte mit dem Stick eine physikalische Maschine mit c't WIMage auf die VM übertragen.

Wie habt ihr das Boot-Problem gelöst ? Welchen Fehler mache ich ?

Ja, USB-Stick bootet als erstes. Der screen prompt teilt mit, dass der Stick nicht gefunden wird. Wenn danach Windows 11 als VM hochfährt, ist der Stick mit den beiden Partitionen (Laufwerken) da.

Ich glaub du musst Secure Boot deaktivieren. Waerend er bootet kannst du mit Esc ins BIOS-Menu kommen und dann Device-Manger->Secure Boot Configuration->Current Secure Boot State auf Disabled. Und dann sollte es gehen.

Das habe ich nun versucht. Im Boot-Menü kann ich den Stick sehen, doch wenn ich ihn auswähle, passiert nichts. Im gleichen Menü kann ich die QEMU-Festplatte wählen und es geht damit dann sofort weiter.
