Estimate for Debian Buster and PVE 6

Now that Debian has finally announced a release date for Buster, how much work remains before we get PVE 6 and more importantly Ceph Nautilus?

Is the first release going to include any substantial changes to ProxMox itself or mostly just upgrading everything to Debian Buster?

Given how long Debian Buster has been under freeze for I'd imagine Proxmox has been working on builds for Buster, but is that something we can expect released in a couple weeks after Buster is released or a couple months?

When PVE 6 is released there will an upgrade instruction (like always) how the upgrade has to be done (include Ceph).

Given how long Debian Buster has been under freeze for I'd imagine Proxmox has been working on builds for Buster, but is that something we can expect released in a couple weeks after Buster is released or a couple months?

This depends mainly on Debian.

Now that Debian Buster is right around the corner did Proxmox follow the original plan of building and testing internally on Mimic and Nautilus or is that still waiting to be done? As for the upgrade to PVE 6 I was more referring to the work for Proxmox, not end users upgrading. Is PVE6 going to be basically PVE 5.4 but ported to Buster or is ProxMox also bundling in additional features and improvements?

Ultimately I've been following the whole Debian - Ceph situation for a year now eagerly awaiting when I'll be able to finally upgrade to Mimic or above for some new features in Mimic that I've been desperately wanting to use. I get that there's no set release date for PVE 6, I'm mostly just interested in what work remains to be done and is it just waiting on Buster to be released or is there a bunch of additional work for Proxmox in addition to waiting for Buster.

Note that it's possible to use mimic on stretch. (I'm using ubuntu xenial repo for this). works wihout any problem.
