I have a postfix/dovecot mail server setup in a container.
In front I have installed and configured Proxmox Mail Gateway as the proxy.
I am able to send & receive emails successfully to all my hosted domains and mailboxes.
My concern is that everyday my mailserver gets flooded with hundreds...
I am running a mailserver (ISPConfig) in a proxmox lxc container which was working fine and stopped working recently all of a sudden.

First let me explain my setup. My Proxmox box boots off of a ZFS mirror of two 500GB SSD's. I also have a secondary ZFS pool consisting of 12 spinning disks, 2 SSD SLOG ZIL devices and 2 SSD L2ARC devices, which I use for data storage. I am in the middle of a slow project to one...
Having only recently migrated from vSphere, I havent been able to find any equivalent of the alerts in Proxmox.
As I am not watching my cluster all the time. What if any alerts can be configured in Proxmox?
I'd like to know (by email) if a node goes down or a VM is restarted on a different host...
On Proxmox 5, I appear to already be able to see SMART data via the webgui. Further I can send email from the CLI:
echo "testing" | mail -s "test" email@example.com
So I suspect that email smart alerts are already working. My question is if there's a way to test it? Or perhaps get a monthly SMART...

I'd like to troubleshoot email setup for a new install and can't seem to find any mention of such configuration in the documentation.
How is this configured, cinluding changing the origin of email (FROM)?
I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to send email notifications for hosts or VM during actions such as migrations, reboots etc. I have email working but I seem to only get emails when a scheduled backup runs. Most of the information I'm finding is just how to setup postfix but not the...
I've changed the address I used for email notifications via Web GUI. I've also changed the backup time from 7am to 7pm., and all the changes are reflected in
However, Proxmox is still backing up at 7am and the emails are still coming to the old address.
This happened on...
I have decided to automate the scrubbing of my pool with the advice provided by @tom from this post ZFS Health and because it is no good scrubbing if you aren't notified of a problem looked in the suggestion at the end of that post about using /etc/zfs/zed.d/zed.rc.
Information about this ZFS...
We are using five nodes in one cluster, and we use ceph for the mainstorage.
Now my question, is it possible to configure a mail notification for the status of the OSDs?
The mail should send an email if one of the OSDs reaches the warn/health status "X near full osd(s)" at 85%...
