Hi everyone,

I'm trying to add a node to a cluster, but it keeps getting stuck at "waiting for quorum..."
I can get past it by doing "pvecm expected 1" on the node, but it doesn't actually add it to the cluster.

journalctl -f shows this over and over again:

Code:
Jun 29 01:33:40 waifu-pve corosync[30124]: notice [TOTEM ] A new membership (192.168.1.100:676) was formed. Members
Jun 29 01:33:40 waifu-pve corosync[30124]: warning [CPG ] downlist left_list: 0 received
Jun 29 01:33:40 waifu-pve corosync[30124]: notice [QUORUM] Members[1]: 1
Jun 29 01:33:40 waifu-pve corosync[30124]: notice [MAIN ] Completed service synchronization, ready to provide service.
Jun 29 01:33:40 waifu-pve corosync[30124]: [TOTEM ] A new membership (192.168.1.100:676) was formed. Members

Jun 29 01:33:40 waifu-pve corosync[30124]: [MAIN ] Completed service synchronization, ready to provide service.

(except the number after the colon in "[TOTEM ] A new membership" changes every time.

If it helps, the node I'm trying to add is connected to the rest of the network through a powerline adapter.
This error happens on a fresh install, and when I try to connect another node that's directly connected to the network, it joins without any problems.

I'm running the latest version of PVE, 5.2-2.

I would greatly appreciate any help. Please let me know if you need more information.

Thanks!

Throw away the powerline adapter, they are anything then reliable. You proved it yourself already.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to refund the adapters today and buy a long length of Ethernet cable and some Command clips instead.
