I noticed that there's a new feature under the pvecm command to add a qdevice. I have been using Proxmox at home and for clients in a single node local storage configuration for almost a year now, and have been dying to mess with a proper shared storage/two node HA setup. My dream setup would be...
after rebooting single PVE node (no cluster) I get an error that Proxmox VE Cluster is not started.
Checking the related service I found that directory /etc/pve is empty.
Unfortunately I cannot identify the root cause and fix this.
I tried to reinstall packages pve-cluster pve-manager...
ich habe folgendes Problem:
Ich habe Proxmox installiert und einen Container mit Ubuntu 18 angelegt, auf dem ich einen Proxy Reverse-Server mit nginx eingerichtet habe. Dieser startet auch gleich beim booten und mittels
systemctl enable nginx.service
startet nginx auch...
I propose that these lines are added to the article here in order to fix the boot order of the services. Otherwise nginx won't come up correctly after reboot because the certificate files are not available before pve-cluster service was started.
I'm trying to add a node to a cluster, but it keeps getting stuck at "waiting for quorum..."
I can get past it by doing "pvecm expected 1" on the node, but it doesn't actually add it to the cluster.
journalctl -f shows this over and over again:
Jun 29 01:33:40 waifu-pve...
I've got a cluster of three nodes, node1, node2 and node3.
For some reason webui stopped and I've restarted pveproxy service, but it won't start.
# systemctl status pveproxy
● pveproxy.service - PVE API Proxy Server
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/pveproxy.service; enabled)
I have 3 servers which already do pve-cluster as the list below
Is it possible to Change Master From node1 to node2 ?
I want to remove Node1 out and using Node2 to be a master insteaded..
I'm writing this short article because I spend myself a lot of time by finding the right configuration to get this working.
First of all: A 2 Node Cluster is not a very good way to create High-Availability or even Fail-over scenarios because corosync is not able to create a...
Following up my previous thread ( which has no solution at the moment ), I started searching what actually failed in my attempt to create clustering with running virtual machines.
Commands run adn output:
root@xxxxx:~# sqlite3 /var/lib/pve-cluster/config.db

I have a cluster with 2 nodes, and as configured by default, they both have 1 vote and will not reach quorum:
Expected votes: 2
Highest expected: 2
Total votes: 1
Quorum: 2 Activity blocked
I've tried stopping the...
I have a cluster setup with 2 nodes (proxmox01 and proxmox02). Proxmox01 is my primary node, then Proxmox02 is my second.
What I noticed is everytime proxmox02 gets a bit loaded (system load reach around 2.0) because of the "kvm" process, it automatically get disconnected from the cluster...
I have been pulling my hair out today and have reinstalled Proxmox on 3 different servers about 4 times each so far because not only does it not work but I can't seem to revert back either.
I have 3 servers (nodes) running Proxmox 4.2-23
All 3 servers are on an RPN network as well as having...
I have a fresh setup of Proxmox VE 4.2-15 cluster with two nodes running, Proxmox01 and Proxmox02.
Using Proxmox01's UI as my management UI, I'm able to deploy and setup a VM on Proxmox01 with no sweat. However, I'm having an issue deploying a VM in Proxmox02 (using Proxmox01's UI). I was...
I have 2 nodes + 1 quorum total 3 machines.
From GUI, this is the status of the HA:
I know something is not right and I notice all the machine has no pve-cluster process running.
Should I run pve-cluster (service pve-cluster start) on all of the machines? or just on particular machine...
After doing a simple `apt-get upgrade` on my older pve 3.4, it didn't come back online due to a kernel panic (can't find /etc/zfs/zfs-functions). Not the end of the world I thought, let's use the opportunity and upgrade to 4.2. After a clean install (again zfs raid 1) and some zpool-hassle, I...
