Unable to take snapshots on CTs once the disk was moved to a shared NFS storage

Hi all,

I've encountered an issue when I try to take a snapshot of a VM or CT where the disk as moved to a shared NFS storage.
In the Snapshot section there is a warnings:

The current guest configuration does not support taking new snapshots

This is the root disk information:


The above information screenshots are related to a CT, while for a VM where I moved the disk to the shared storage I still can take snapshots.
Could you please support on this?

Hi,

If the VM image is in qcow2 format then you can take a snapshot, please check the below link and see what storage type is supporting the snapshots.
