LVM Thin is a specific type of software technology that is independent of your hardware. You cannot use LVM Thin as shared storage in PVE cluster.
How your storage allocates blocks is completely independent of how LVM works.

if you take a look at the manual, you can see that LVM thin storage cannot be shared as opposed to LVM that can be shared if its used on top of FC-based storage [1].

Lvm-thin have an unique extra metadata volume to manage the thin provisionning, and this volume can' be shared across multiple nodes.
I have also HP 3PAR FC SAN system, and have many physical servers. PVE has been deployed since many years with no major issues except sharing feature. LVM has been configured on top of FC based storage to get sharing feature. But, we are facing huge storage scarcity problem because of non-supported thin provisioning. Here I'm requesting all whether there is any solution to get shared storage with thin provision for my case (FC based SAN)
