LVM and Proxmox

I have two hosts with Proxmox installed. I connected each server with two 10 Gbit iSCSI links to a Fujitsu ETERNUS storage system. On the storage, RAID 5 is configured with a single volume. I have set up a multipath connection and I am currently using LVM. Is LVM the only option?


I tried LVM-Thin, but I cannot use it simultaneously on both hosts.

Yes, LVM (thick) is the officially supported and safe method to allow for shared SAN storage in PVE
