I am new to Proxmox and I'm currently trying to get one of my hosts migrated from ESXi over to Proxmox. The sever itself is a HP Microserver N54L. Its only got a VGA port on the back of it. When the server starts booting into Proxmox V6.0 the display complains its gone out of range at the server is outputting 1080. Looking at the below to forum posts it suggests the splash screen is the issue and you just need to hit enter. This does work and the screen starts your more traditional Linux boot with lines of text going down the screen. It then goes back into the unsupported mode. At this point no about of enterbashing gets me through.

Can anybody offer any words of wisdom? Its currently looking like Proxmox is going to be a non-starter for me.

PVE currently doesn't offer a non-graphical installer. However, you can install a regular Debian Buster using their terminal-based installer (which should therefore work) and then follow the alternative PVE install-instructions from our wiki.

[Solved] Live can be so easy :) (Tested with 6.1.2 and 6.2 with 64G stick in internal USB slot)
