How to update pbs client on centos standalone server

Hi,


We have a centos stand-alone server with PBS client installed, we installed the same using the below documentations

The backup is working fine and running, but restoration having issues

failed to apply directory metadata: failed to apply acls: Error while restoring ACL - ACL invalid

While checking, we could see the issue is because of a bug in the current version

client version: 1.0.11

May I know how we can update the client? is there any documentation available for Centos standalone server?

hi,

if you look at the script [0] in that repository, you'll see it pulls the tag 1.0.11 from our repository before building it.

to update it you could change the version there, or you could just omit the version in the script to pull latest commits instead.

We have tried to rebuild again with a different version and without specifying version, but still, it building with version 1.0.11

Compiling proxmox v0.11.0 (/proxmox-backup-client/proxmox/proxmox)
Compiling proxmox-backup v1.0.11 (/proxmox-backup-client/proxmox-backup)
Building [=======================> ] 280/285: proxmox-backup, proxmox

Is 1.0.11 is the latest version for centos 8?
