Hello,

I was thinking of making a VM that will act as a VPN server and only client's that are connected to the VPN can access Proxmox.

I want to setup so that there is no access to Proxmox unless you are connected to the VPN of course the other VM'S need to run normally and need to be accessible on the way they are setup.

Any idea's of how to do this?

I also tought about what if the VPN server crashes in mine case i have physical access to the server so i can enter back in this way if i get locked out.

Regards,

you can use the firewall to limit SSH/API/GUI access to certain IPs or network interfaces, and only allow it for your VPN IP range.
