ceph don't seem to be able to do linked clone, and full cloning is slow

1. the gui only offers Full Clone for VMs on ceph volumes; ceph should be able to create linked clones fast and easy (as well as light snapshots, by the way).
   
2. Full Clone creation doesn't seem to use ceph and thus extremely slow.

PVE full clone was created in 43 minutes, while doing it in the ceph way (rbd cp) takes 21 seconds (120 times faster).

Answering myself on question 1: linked clone only works from templates it seems, but it uses real ceph clones.

Yes, full clone currently use qemu mirroring feature. So it's storage agnostic. (you can clone from any storage type to any storage type).
Maybe in the future we could add some storage specific functions to speedup thing. (like cp rbd to new rbd on same ceph pool).
can you make a feature request in proxmox bugzilla : bugzilla.proxmox.com ?
