Hello,

I am running into some issues sending mail and was hoping someone may be able to assist. From what I can tell PMG is sending mail externally exclusively on port 25. I am trying to change it to 587 as my ISP blocks port 25. I have attached an image for your reference. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advanced,
-RP

yes this is true in the default configuration - since PMG is meant to be used as a Gateway/Proxy before mail is sent to the internet as well (and there mail needs to be send on port 25)

Do you have a smart-host where you can sent mail to so that it gets forwarded on the internet? if yes you can set up the default transport to send it to that host on port 587 (this can be configured on the GUI (Configuration->Mail Proxy->Relaying)
If the smart-host needs you to authenticate on port 587 (which is also quite common) - you need to adapt the postfix config via the templateing engine (see https://pmg.proxmox.com/pmg-docs/pmg-admin-guide.html#pmgconfig_template_engine)
There are quite a few posts here for relaying to a smart-host with authentication.

I hope this helps!
