Changes in multipath fibre channel config. Prox 4 -> 5

Changes in multipath fibre channel config. Prox 4 -> 5

Hi, we have several clusters and use a HPE 3PAR SAN. On versions below 5 the paths are setup without issue when I run rescan-scsi-bus etc but on version 5 this doesnt work and the 3PAR virtual volumes can be seen but wont be mounted via mapper. Two questions, 1 - Did anything change in the way...

    HP Data protector and Proxmox

Hi, a little further information... If I install the same software on proxmox 1.9, using a non-openvz kernel this works perfectly. I am presuming this problem is caused by something added in by openvz. Is there a KVM only kernel for proxmox 2.1? Thanks

    HP Data protector and Proxmox

Hi, we have just built a new platform using HP blades and proxmox 2.1 and have now come to install HP data protector. Hi Tom, it was just the basic 1.9 install. Sorry I havent got any further info on the panics really as I had to sort it there and then, as I did tonight. Installing on USB stick

Hi, I have proxmox running on a HP microserver from a USB stick (albeit a 16gb). The only problem I saw is you need to boot with rootdelay=120 to let the LVM subsystem build. It looks like proxmox is trying to boot from you hard disk not your pendrive, unless your pendrive is on /dev/sdb1? It...
