qemu-2.7 iothread

I thought qemu-2.7 had solved all issues regarding iothread but apparently you are still not able to make a backup if iothread is enabled. Am I missing something?

proxmox vma backup need to be rework to handle aiocontext.
I'll look at the code to compare with stock qemu backup, but it's too much different.

Maybe ask to Dietmar.

(BTW, drive mirror is working fine now with iothread on qemu 2.7)

Have noticed but lacking backup means iothread useless for me.

as workaround, I think it could be possible to make script which use stock qemu backup feature.
It's more like drive mirror, but at the state of the start of the backup. (backup are raw or qcow2 disk)

ivan, thanks for bringing this up, same here, we have to disable iothread to be able to backup our rbd v-disks, really annoying
