Hi. Installing Proxmox VE 2 on new HP ProLiant DL360 G7 servers with 300Gb logical volume.
After ISO install, the filesystem sizing is:
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/pve-root 71990616 958208 67375500 2% /
tmpfs 6143728 0 6143728 0% /lib/init/rw
udev 6134140 224 6133916 1% /dev
tmpfs 6143728 12528 6131200 1% /dev/shm
/dev/mapper/pve-data 187967340 191984 187775356 1% /var/lib/vz
/dev/sda1 506724 55840 424721 12% /boot
/dev/fuse 30720 12 30708 1% /etc/pve
or more readble:
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/pve-root 69G 937M 65G 2% /
tmpfs 5.9G 0 5.9G 0% /lib/init/rw
udev 5.9G 224K 5.9G 1% /dev
tmpfs 5.9G 19M 5.9G 1% /dev/shm
/dev/mapper/pve-data 180G 188M 180G 1% /var/lib/vz
/dev/sda1 495M 55M 415M 12% /boot
/dev/fuse 30M 12K 30M 1% /etc/pve
Also performed on a server with 146Gb logical volume and / is 30Gb.
Seems like quite a lot of wasted space that will never be used in / that Proxmox auto-partitions from the boot ISO.
Is there a way to change this? no options seem to exist off the ISO install. Thanks.
