[SOLVED] VM High windows server 2019 memory usage

Hi guys ,
What's can i do to decrease the memory usage by windows server 2019 vm even in the TASK manager of the machine the memory it normal .
NB: quemu agent already installed see attached screens.

check qemu agent service because seems not running.
when it works ip should appears too.

i just installed the qemu agent as you see in the screen bellow it running but i still have the high memory usage issue .
(VM Windows server 2019 , Proxmox 5.3 )

How does the VM-config look like? (qm config YourVMID)
Did you follow: [1] and installed all drivers?



EOL since over two years: [2] (PVE 6 is also EOL.)
Suggesting to upgrade to PVE 7. First: [3] -> Afterwards: [4]

This was all that was necessary from the wiki steps, and fixed all my problems too, including memory usage not being reported accurately;

The easiest way to install missing drivers and services is to use the provided MSI installer. It is available on the driver CD since version "virtio-win-0.1.173-2".

Run the "virtio-win-gt-x64.msi" file located directly on the CD. If you do not plan to use SPICE you can deselect the "Qxl" and "Spice" features. Restart the VM after the installer is done.
