Hello,
we have a weird phenomen on our two backup servers running version 2.4.2 and all packages up-to-date.
Our daily verification job that starts running at 02:00 ends up with the status 'unknown' at 00:00. The job actually seems to need more than one day to complete because of our file server backups (5x 4TB each). But every day at 00:00 it stops randomly without a successful verification of all VM backups (which is actually wanted and configured). Additionally the End Time is set to the value of the Start time, which isn't possible because until 00:00 all those jobs were running (can be confirmed with disk I/O).
Aside from that all manually started verification jobs are being stopped. Manually started jobs that finish before 00:00 are completed successful.
It is striking that always after a successful "logrotate" at 00:00 all verification jobs are stopped with the status 'unknown'. Could there be a coherence?
EDIT: I manually edited the crontab file for logrotate yesterday to disable the daily run of logrotate. And today all verification jobs are still running, so I suspect, that there's actually a coherence between the failing of those jobs and logrotate. Maybe there's a bug?
We havn't made any changes on the
And as I already wrote both of our servers have the same issue.
Also the syslog doesn't contain anything helpful, or does the PBS logs this somewhere else?
Here's an excerpt from our task view:

Does someone had the same issue and got it solved?
Best regards
