URGENT PROXMOX 3.X NOT STARTING PLEASE HELP ME.

Hi,
yes, but not so easy - do you have valid backups?

You can connect an external HDD and copy all VM-disks to the external hdd.
But you need the config! and the config is in an sqlite-db. Not so easy for an beginner to get the data.

Do you have network connction inside the chroot?
apt-get update + dist-upgrade? (no-subscribtion-repo first).

Why you don't setup the network inside the chroot and do an apt-get dist-upgrade?

You start the next work before ending the first one...

And, if I understand you right, you connect your old pve-server-hdd to the new one - eg. you have two lvm volumegroups with the name pve!

This will not work!

Of course you can rename the old VG - but than you can 100% not boot this system anymore (ok, you can if you realy know what you do - but it's looks not that you play in this classes).

Anyway - the easiest way should be a repair of the old system.

Another way is an externel hdd on the old rescue (grml) system and copy the VM-disks + configs from /etc (tar is your friend) + pve-sqlite-db to the external hdd.
Then install on an empty hdd an pve3.4 (not pve5) and recover the pmxfs due this https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Proxmox_Cluster_File_System_(pmxcfs)#_recovery

Ok i will follow steps with GRML a setup network inside chroot and else i will send photo to you

Can we apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade now with ssh?
This should done hours before...
Which system is bootet? the new pve5-one?! than you can't chroot to the old system to repair.

If you have the gmrl-chroot on your pve3.3-system than yes - like wrote before - should done hours before.

For me it's not clear what things you are doing.
The scenario is simple:
1. boot old system via live-cd
2. enable chroot to old system
3. enable networking inside chroot
4. update system
