Unofficial Proxmox Discord server

Please excuse my massive ignorance: why would one go and use some random Discord server when there is this open forum? (No, I won't go and test it...)
The reason is mostly because other Discords give you faster and instant answers rather than having to wait and F5 a page....That being said, nothing to do with that Discord. Experience was completely negative and no one was really helpful, professional or even knew how to work in a enterprise, just trying to defend the product and their experience mostly in a homelab.

(Apologies, I seem to be limited to 10 images, so the rest will have to be imgur links)

You seem to be laboring under some misapprehensions. I will attempt to offer clarity.

For example, you make claims like

This is completely false. For example, I myself have 15+ years of enterprise experience. I'm currently a Senior Systems Engineer at Intel, and previously worked in professional roles with companies such as Symantec, McAfee, Arris, and more. Many other members of the community also are professionals in various enterprises, and told you this - you ignored them and pretended like they never spoke. Yes, some people do have homelab experience. Some people have enterprise experience. Many people have both. I'm managing a multi-node, highly-available, hyperconverged Proxmox cluster in an enterprise on-premise datacenter right now.

You did not try to have a normal discussion. You claimed that enterprises don't run KVM, and got upset when people disagreed with you

You also claimed that Proxmox wasn't enterprise, simply because it did not have vendor certification.

You were very passioniate about these claims you made... until people disagreed with you. Then the discussion and other people were "pointless"

You didn't insult anyone... but if you did, it wasn't your fault, because "they can't handle the truth"

When you were slow to reply to other people, you said:

But when other users were slow to reply, because they were sleeping or had a life, you were then complaining, and calling it "ragebaiting":

Johan is a mod. They gave you some very polite redirection, and your response was:

You then tried to mischaracterize this as the mod talking about other people, rather than yourself:

That was a mod doing something about it.

You complained about how many people pinged you, but you pinged McTwist, a different moderator than Johan - who was already interacting with you - 8 separate times:

They finally replied to you:

They DID moderate - you simply didn't like that you were the subject of that moderation:

Finally, after you disagreed with the moderation, you were muted in the server, and reached out to multiple staff to complain. When you didn't get immediate responses - again, because the mods are sleeping, or have lives (see the pattern here?) - you took to the forums to complain, and completely misrepresent the situation.

Ironically, my first interaction with riahc3 is when they were complaining about a user writing complete sentences and a longer post:

The fact that you have the time, as a grown adult, to make a post this large editing pictures manipulating them is mind boggling.

I'm not gonna even read it: The reality: I asked enterprise experience, got people who don't understand and only probably have homelabs, said it was OK and everyone should move on their day and I just didnt want to talk about that anymore, homelabbers kept insisting, got banned, asked for a professional and mod for explanation, dead silent. I dont need nor am I gonna waste my time with screenshots nor am I going to edit them.

this forum here is absolute top. fast and competent replies, professional and the best: the Proxmox staff answers itself.
i do not recommend, especially if proxmox is used in professional environments, dont use any other source. use this forum here.
Yup, thats what this experience has shown me. People on that Discord have no idea what they are talking about while reading this forum, there are plently of people that do know what they are talking about and have had a more depth career experiences in enterprises. Now I know: Proxmox doubts? Always forums

Please keep it civil here, and if you start going out to discredit a community, you will have to live with getting the potential backslash, and you do not get away exactly as an outstanding community member that was just wronged out of spite or what not, at least from what we've seen.
Going then for ad hominem attack and discrediting a whole community of having no experience or knowledge won't exactly help your cause in any channel either, at least that's not something we want to see here in our official Proxmox Community Support forum either.

Anyway, there was enough ruffle now, let's please all find a civil way forward.
