Hello,

I should probably state before that I am new to this and trying to install proxmox for the first time.

I recently got a Dell R740 that has 2 SATA SSDs that are about 240GB each. I wanted to have RAID1 with these 2 SSDs using ZFS. My server currently has a HBA330 and iDRAC says they are in good health and non raid. I attempted to install proxmox using zfs with RAID1 but it finishes installing and then says install failed and a popup saying "Unable to unmount zfs."

I have attached a picture of the last console logs.

Any help would be appreciated with this. Thank you.

This looks like either a broken ISO (download was incomplete, the flash drive you copied it to has issues,...), or like you accidentally chose the flash-drive as installation destination (IIRC the installer does not present the installation medium as selectable disk)...

If you provide the ISO via iDRAC that might be the issue as well (use a USB drive instead)

I hope this helps!

Was able to fix. I think when attempting my first install I was using iDRAC HMTL5 console with virtual media and it must have disconnected. When attempting again, it installed without errors and is running well now.
