[SOLVED] Unable to access GUI after trying to import SSL cert

Hi,

I was trying to apply a SSL cert I created for my home lab and was following instructions from a YouTube video and after I imported it via the interface/gui the web page was inaccessible. I get the error "Site can't be reached - unexpectedly closed the connection." I use Brave browser but doesn't matter what browser I use.
Hope someone can post steps to manually remove the cert I imported via SSH that I imported and get it back to what it was before. I should have known better and first tried on a test box.

OK..I was able to fix it after finding this thread - https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/lost-access-to-the-gui-after-ssl-certificates-deletion.58789/

• removing the files '/etc/pve/local/pveproxy-ssl.pem' and '/etc/pve/local/pveproxy-ssl.key' (or renaming them)
• run `pvecm updatecerts --force` afterwards
• systemctl restart pveproxy
