Sync Task Status Error

Hi everyone,

Every time that I issue a sync job and wish to view the task window, the log is blank and the status tab shows the attached error (Bad Request (400) parameter verification errors parameter 'upid': value may only be 128 characters long). After the sync job is done, and I got to Datastore > Sync Jobs > Show Log, I see the same blank log and error on the status page.

I'm not sure what could be wrong, it's a fresh install, acting as an off-site server. The PBS server that it is pulling from is running 1.1-5 however. I plan on updating it soon. Is there an incompatibility between 1.1-5 and 2.0-10? I'll be reading the release notes again today.

Thank you for your time!

Thanks Fabian!

Do you know how I could go about seeing the logs in the cli? I've tried using:
Bash:
proxmox-backup-manager task list
proxmox-backup-manager task log [UPID]
but then I'm connected as a client and I'm no longer given a prompt until I abort ( [CTRL]+C ).

Thanks again!

if you know the UPID, you can just look in /var/log/proxmox-backup/tasks

no, that's the index of currently running tasks workers. we only encode information we have at the start time into the UPID, so at that point we can also already create the logfile, no need for temporary files ;) the 'archive' files are the indices of already finished tasks, that includes the end time and status.
