Storage replication for LVM-Thin using lvmsync

This stuff can sync LVM thin LVs and their snapshots:

I guess it could be interesting way to widen proxmox replication support beyond being ZFS-only solution.

That looks interesting thought it's not been updated for 3 years.

I'd like to see LVM thin replication as well but suspect it might be a bit of work for the Proxmox guys to add in. ZFS probably was far easier because it's got this capability natively built in so they don't need to write and maintain that part themselves.

We have a prototype for lvm-thin, but it is not really reliable so far ...

no plans so far - AFAIK there are technical LVM limitation that makes it hard, but I have no details.

A couple of years passed. Any update on this? If I take the responsibility myself to migrate the LVM lv, will Promox VE respect this or prevent the migration?
