Hi to all

i am very new in proxmox environment, so maybe it is a basic question but i am unsure how to proceed

there is a cluster with 6 node
call it sm7,8,9,10,11,12

well, when i assembled the cluster, every node was in good shape, but... last pc start to behave oddly so i want to remove it from cluster

ok, i know how to remove node from cluster, did it before, but i never do it with active CEPH, so i like to ask for help before making some damage :(

ceph Monitors are on all nodes sm[7-12]
ceph OSDs are on all nodes sm[7-12]
ceph Manager was only on last node sm12

ok, sm12 start to fall, so i decided to install Manager on sm11

my question is, how to safely remove sm12 from cluster without breaking CEPH ?

is it enough to stop OSD on sm12 and remove from cluster?
or there is other steps ?
i have a plenty of free space on CEPH so removing one node/disk is safe

thank you in advance
