Recovering files from a backup

При попытке восстановить файл из резервной копии, возникает ошибка:CID '11' в использовании, но достигнуто максимальное количество попыток, прерывание (500).
Но изначально оказалось, что необходимо установить компонент restore-image

Did you try to restore the entire VM?

If you can restore the whole VM, your backup must be ok.
And if you have the VM restored, you can get your file.
That doesn't solve the original problem, but who cares?
Get the file from the VM.

If you can't restore the entire VM, maybe there's a problem with the backup.
Does it give you an error?
Maybe this error will be better than "CID 11 In Use".

Yes, I restored the entire machine. No problems with that. Even from a restored machine I can't restore a file, the same error occurs. I create a backup copy, everything is fine. I restore from this copy also without problems, but I can't restore the file.
 
Solved the problem! This error occurs because I use ALT Virtualization 10 (Proxmox 7.4 base), and file recovery does not work on this version, only machine recovery.

maybe go to the alt linux support channels next time around or at least mention that you are using a fork/derivative and not standard PVE..
