Pve 9 can’t mount cifs anymore in CT

I updated to pve 9 and one of my containers won’t connect samba network drive:

sudo mount -amount error(13): Permission deniedRefer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs) and kernel log messages (dmesg)

It used to work for several years on all pro mix versions.
I’m wondering if anybody else ran into something similar and has some clues.

With AI help, we found out that my CT was missing
"pct set <CT_ID> -features mount=cifs"

Why?
If this upgrade deed then needs to be fixed.

Yes I have the same. I wanted to use jellyfin as it worked with pve8, but the player failed. I checked the logs in jellyfin and got the error no such file blabla.
I checked the cifs mount on the CT and it failed.

In the "options" section of the CT I added the feature SMB/CIFS and this solved the "permission denied" error,
