Proxmox nutz nur 1 CPU und davon auch nur 1 Kern :-(

Moin Leute,
Ich mache gerade eine Umschulung zum Fisi (noch am Anfang) und in dieser haben wir uns mit Proxmox beschäftigt und weil ich da richtig Bock drauf hab und gelerntes umsetzen möchte habe ich mir für zu hause ein recht betagtens Servermainboard gekauft und mir mittels eines alten Schrankes, eines Netzteils und 2x3er 3,5zoll HDD-Laufwerkschübe aus meinem Standart-Computer (brauch kein mensch mehr sowas) ein Server zusammengebaut.

kurz die wichtigsten Spezifikationen:
Mainboard: MSI MS-9652 Serverboard
CPUs: 2 x Quad-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 2352 (2,1Ghz)
HDD: 6x 465,76 GiB auf RaidZ1 (quasi Raid5)
RAM: 8x 2GB DDR2 (also 8GB pro Socket)

ja ich weis, ist alles recht alt aber für das was ich vor habe reicht das alle Male und dann auch noch mit Stil ^^

BIOS erkennt auch alles, sowohl RAM 16GB als auch beide CPU Sockets.

Das Problem ist das Proxmox nur einen CPU erkennt und davon auch nur einen Kern benutzt.

Kann mir dabei einer behilflich sein?

Nein ich habe keine Subscription. Das ist zum lernen und herumspielen gedacht und nein ich will kein Hypervisor auf meinem Rechner benutzen ^^
Das ganze soll später auch benutzt werden. für meine Private Cloud (Nextcloud), SophosUTM als Firewall und PiHole im Container, Mailgateway, FTP und Plex. Also wirklich keine große Sache das alles außer Sophos macht aktuell selbst mein Pi4 anstandslos.
Wie gesagt, Insgesamt ist es als Übungsprojekt zu bezeichnen.

Hat jemand einen Rat?

Mir war so das ECC 1-Bit fehler korriegiert aber wie gesagt ich lern das alles noch also nicht zu streng mit mir sein

ich hatte deswegen wegen kompatibilität gefragt, weil im originalpost die modellnummer vom speedster 1 angegeben war - das hat nur mit BIOS chip tausch neuere opterons unterstützt. hier scheint aber eh das speedster 2 modell vorzuliegen, dass es out of the box können sollte. aber ja, alter hardware, kein support, nur dürftige infos vom hersteller - ich fürchte hier musst du selbst ein bisschen probieren (ältere kernel? BIOS settings durchschauen - logs genau anschauen, 10 jahre alte foreneinträge durchforsten ob so ein problem schonmal aufgetreten ist, ...).

ja das mit den dürftigen Herstellerinfos ist mir auch schon aufgefallen. hab ewig gebraucht das richtige Handbuch zu finden. MS-9652 V1.1 steht auf dem Board. Speedster 2 auf dem einzigen entsprechenden Handbuch das zu finden war, wirklich ätzend.
ich versuchs erstmal mit nem alten 3.1 Kernel mal sehen was passiert.

sicher, dass es nicht eine bios-einstellung ist? Evtl., wenn Du nichts findest einfach auf Standard-Einstellungen zurückstellen.
