Hi Everyone,
Hope i can get some help here.
Ive been beating my had for a few days already with this and i hope i can get some help.

My configuration of my whole network is the following.
I have a pfsense router where i have configured different vlans.
I have a tp link router where i have configured different vlans.
And finally i have my proxmox server(sits in vlan 7).

Changes made so that proxmox can work with different vlans instead of only vlan 7.
1. configured (port7 connection switch to proxmox to trunk).
2. made vmbr0 which is a bridge to my network interface connected to port 7 vlanaware.
3. Moved ip section to vmbr0.7(new vlan for vlan7).
4. Created a new vlan vmbr0.8(new vlan for other stuff).

After making these changes proxmox still works fine but...... im having alot of problems with assigning vms to vlan vmbr0.8.
Before running a vm i go to the network card. Change the interface to vmbr0 and the tag to 8.
Unfortunately this gives me an APIPA.
But if i change the vlan tag on the vm to 7 i immediately get an ip address.

Is this something you can help me with?

If you wish for me to send configuration screenshots please let me know
