I am planning on configuring a single public IP dedicated server at OVH, every how-to I have read describes using pfSense, I am not against using pfSense, however I like to keep things simple, secure and reliable. So, I can't help but wonder, how will things go, if instead I install nftables, then use its ability to NAT & MASQ? Is this functionality already built into Proxmox (I may have missed it).

I have spare IP addresses in my office, so I could run an experiment to see how things go, but I would rather hear from others that have gone before me.
