Hi,
I want multiple Proxmox clusters to access the same Ceph RBD storage. IMHO this should be possible, but without manually choosing VM IDs in both clusters there would be collisions for disk names. Are there options to avoid this with either defining a custom disk name template (preferred) or setting an index where to start creating VM IDs (eg. cluster1: 100, cluster 2: 1000)?
On a related topic:
I read about "Unreferenced VM disks (not present in the configuration) are not destroyed automatically any more" in Proxmox VE 7.2 changelog and "This was made opt-in in the GUI in Proxmox VE 6.4 and is now also opt-in in the API and with CLI tools". Can somebody point me to where this opt-in for 6.4 can be found?
What is an "unreferenced disk"? Any RBD image or only images conforming to disk name convention?
thx for advice
Matthias
