Hi! Im having some issues installing nvidia drivers(mainly because i need some transcoding i have a 3080 and a 10900KF), after i install them i get "Failed to start Load Kernel Modules" Im installing them through the debian non-free repository. I've tried to install the one that nvidia offers in their website but it gives me error when i try to install them. After installing them ( from the non-free repository) i cant have access to any shell or tty to fix anything so it forces me to reinstall the whole thing all over again. Sorry if this is a common mistake im new in Proxmox. Thanks in advance.

The default nvidia-driver from Debian bullseye is only tested up to kernel 5.10 [1].

The nvidia-driver from Debian bullseye-backports [2] [3] works on one of my (up-to-date) PVE-hosts without a problem.

Do not forget to install the pve-headers before.
Do not install firmware-misc-nonfree as ordered in: [3]. Because afaik this will collide with pve-firmware.

Hi! I cant use the backport repo, it just gives me errors for being not trusted. I have tried everything I have seen online but nothing works.

I tried [3] and still gives "Failed to start Load Kernel Modules" and "Failed to start Nvidia Persistence Daemon". I installed the drivers and the pve headers. Everything from a fresh install.

The pve-headers metapackage pulls the headers for the 5.4 kernel in. This kernel is from PVE 6.x with Debian buster.
PVE 7.2 with Debian bullseye would be kernel 5.15!

What is the full output of pveversion -v?
