DynFi company is a Proxmox-VE partner and also the developer of the DynFi Firewall, a new, modern Open Source Firewall.
Since Proxmox-VE and DynFi Firewall are very complementary, we thought that It would be nice to provide end-users with a Screencast detailing the steps required to create a Virtual Machine with complete ability to filter your network. Embedding a firewall as a VM into your Proxmox-VE could allow you to benefit from a two level filtering (one with the embedded firewall inside Proxmox-VE and another with DynFi Firewall), getting very close to the ideal filtering design.
In this tutorial we do not discuss the details of the design and Proxmox-VE interfaces configuration, but rather focus on the specific requirements of the VM installation.
Should one need some infos regarding the low level Proxmox-VE interface configuration, feel free to post on this thread, we would be happy to help.
