Hi,

I have Windows 10 running in a KVM instance, & it's audio icon says there's no audio device installed. See screenshot [1].

I'd like to be able to hear remote audio when connecting via RDP, but it doesn't work.

How can I do that? Could someone help me please?

Thanks,

-J

your screenshot shows the noVNC console. there is no sound possible here.

if you connect via RDP, sound should work out of the box (this is a setting in your RDP client)

I thought rdp should work, but I tried connecting via rdp but it still didn't work. I wonder why?

did you enabled the sound on the client (remote audio settings)? this is RDP topic and not Proxmox VE related.

I don't know how it works on Windows10, but on Server2012/2008 you have to enable it in the local GPO. The sound over RDP has nothing to do with PVE.
