Help with a strange SPICE issue

So I have a Kali image that I'm connection to using a SPICE client on Windows. Whenever I try to change the resolution on Kali, it changes successfully, but I cannot click on any of the items on the screen in my SPICE window. Everything seems to be "off" by quite a bit (say 100+ pixels) to the left.

Some points:

- I do not have an issue with the VNC client in the console on PVE
- Changing the resolution back to 1024x768 works fine
- I have tried sticking with a 4:3 resolution ratio as well as 16:9, but the effect is the same
- I have the spice configured to use 16GB of RAM in the Hardware settings
- I do have the spice-vdagent service installed and running on Kali
- I have tried rebooting the VM and my Windows machine to no avail.

Any ideas would be appreciated, as I mainly use the SPICE client for copy-and-paste functionality.

So, after about 3 reboots the changes finally stuck and no further issues. Definitely something on my Windows machine, not the PVE VM. Hopefully nobody else runs into this, because it's annoying as anything not being able to click on things in a resized screen.
