I don´t know if this is a dumb question but i am trying to install proxmox on an old laptop with broken screen. I am installing from USB and would like to disable the built in display in grub boot menu as the screen is extended and i can only see the blank extended part on my second monitor.
The problem is i can´t enter grub menu. I tried holding both shifts, escape, space, but it only shows "welcome to grub!" for a split second and goes on to the install.
What can i do ?
edit: Figured it out, just hold e and it will be enough time to get to the edit menu.
