Grub Rescue: checksum verification failed

what does "zpool import" say when booted using a live cd with ZFS support (or the installer in debug mode)? "zpool list" is only for already imported pools.
When booting from installer in debugging mode and trying to issue command zpool import or zpool list, I get "zpool" command not found. Do I nee to do anything to enable this commandline?

the PVE installer definitely has `zpool` included.
I think the issue might be, that the first shell is still in a very early context. - Ctrl+D should bring you to the next debug shell where it should be available

Hope this helps!

Had the issue again today when upgrading to v6. Had to boot to live CD, import pool, scrub and export to finally boot the system. Once the system booted, the zfs upgrade broke it again so I had to do it all over again a second time.
