Default install size

It seems as if the default install sets local at 100 GB. That's way overkill for my scenarios. Is there a way to change that upon install or after install (before adding VM's)?
 
afaik if you use the ISO it will create the disk layout based on some defaults.
Changing those lateron will be possible but there is a risk to break things.
for me this was a reason to install PVE on top of a Debian10.
I am running my system from an 8GB SSD now. Works great!

Thanks. Yes I for sure want to do it before putting any data on it. I have never tried to load it on debian. I have just used the ISO.
 
For me it was a very straight forward process.
Install Debian with the Desired disk layout. Then add the pve repository and simply install proxmox via "apt" command.
You should be able to find the related wiki article quite easily.
 
I just did... Looks pretty straightforward. (Knocking on wood)

Thanks for opening my eyes to another way of doing the install!
