CloudHeavenIT - Proxmox-based Cloud Lab Platform for IT Education (Schools, Training Centers)

Hello Proxmox community!

I'd like to share a project we've been building: CloudHeavenIT a web-based cloud lab platform built entirely on top of Proxmox VE, designed specifically for IT education and training.

The problem we solve

Many schools, universities, and training centers struggle to provide students with hands-on lab environments for learning:

• Virtualization (creating and managing VMs)
• Networking (VLANs, bridges, firewalls, routing)
• System administration (Linux, Windows Server)
• Cybersecurity (isolated environments, pentesting labs)

What CloudHeavenIT offers

We built a complete platform on top of Proxmox VE that provides:

• VM & LXC container management via a user-friendly web interface (create, start, stop, clone, snapshot)
• Advanced networking: virtual bridges, VLANs, pfSense and OpenSense firewall integration
• Browser-based console access: noVNC — no client installation needed
• Educational tools: built-in quizzes (QCM), command-line simulators (Linux, router, switch), tutorials, and learning paths
• Real-time collaboration: shared workspaces, group projects, integrated video conferencing
• Media center: video tutorials via Youtube
• ISO library: manage ISO images
• PBS integration: scheduled backups via Proxmox Backup Server
