Backup Configuration

Hey Guys,

We have a cluster with 5 servers which is setup with High Availability for the VPS's...
My only problem now is backups... I need to get a backup solution for the VPS's, so I was hoping to add 1 8TB drive to one of the servers, internal or external, and share it for all to make their backups on.

Is there a way with proxmox and HA to do this? P.S the vm storage is ceph (Incase that matters)

hi,

the easiest solution could be to set up a shared storage (e.g. NFS) for your backups.

what are your specific needs?

I can, but then I need to employ an entire server for it...
I was hoping that Proxmox would have a more effective way of dealing with it

I've setup a nas now, Was SOOOO hoping there's a simpler local cluster method... Now I am just looking for a solution to incremental/differential backups now too...

I've found https://github.com/ayufan/pve-patches butit does not seem to work on the newest version of proxmox (Or I am missing something )
