Add a static route on a container

Hey,

I am trying to create a static route on my LXC Container.
I executed the following command:

sudo ip route add 64:ff9b::/96 via fe80::1 dev eth0

But some why this doesn't work.

Does anybody know why?

I don't think it's possible to set the network configuration within a container. You will probably need to run a full VM to achieve this sort of function

(Choose your container then Options / Unprivileged container)

Uh, nope. It doesn't

ip route add = IPv4
64:ff9b::/96 = IPv6

Try

ip -6 route add 64:ff9b::/96 via fe80::1 dev eth0
