I am trying to passthrough my lsi PCIe card to openmedia vault and when I add pcie hardware it says no IOMMU detected. The card is detected in lspci, I added `intel_iommu=on
iommu=pt`
to the kernel and
`vfio
vfio_iommu_type1
vfio_pci
vfio_virqfd1`
to /etc/modules and refreshed initramfs...
Hi all,
I have a Proxmox PC with a PCI SAS controller with connected 2 (for now) 6TB drives.
I need to use these drives into OMV (VM) and into some other VMs.
Is it better to passthrough the whole PCI card to the OMV VM, manage the disks in it, create the shares and mount them into the other VMs...
Not sure if this is the right place to post this... moderator do let me know if this is not appropriate.
I have ordered a CPU N100, 16GB DDR5 Ram, 118GB P1600X Intel Optane SSD, 4 Ports Intel i226.
Currently I also have a 3 Nodes Clusters. With only 2 Nodes running at a time, 1 running my...
Hallo zusammen
Dear friends,
This is my first post. At the beginning, I want to write a small tutorial. For several days and nights, I've been trying to set GPU passthrouth on HP EliteDesk 800 G2 CORE i5 vPro 6500T Skylake gen 9, and finally, I succeeded! :)...
Hello,
I'm curious if any of you has experience with using Juniper vSRX in Proxmox environment with SRX clustering enabled as well as passing physical NIC to vSRX.
In a typical setup where all NICs are vNICs, the vSRX clustering works. 2 of the vNICs become, inside vSRX, fxp0 and also em0...

I recently set up a mini PC to run Home Assistant and it's my first time running Proxmox. Everything appears to be working well except when I boot the machine from a cold start (doesn't happen very often). Proxmox and Home Assistant start, but the AX200 Bluetooth looks like it has problems...
Hello,
I hate opening an account to ask newbie question, but I can't find an example answer (although I'm sure this has beed discussed already many times - so, my apologies).
I want to know what is better between two options, before I do something and regret later.
Let's say I have Proxmox on...
Good afternoon everyone.
I'm trying to do a PCIE passthrough on an Nvidia GT 630 graphics card. I'm pretty stuck because I've tried a lot of options by following forums and youtube videos. None work for me.
The fact is that I tryied the same operation with a 3060 TI that they lent me for the...
Hello,
Introduction:
I have been using Proxmox with a couple of VMs and LXC containers. One of the VMs is my NAS (OpenMediaVault 5).
Hardware:
- HP T630 Thin Client
- USB 3.0 HDD Enclosure (Lacie) with separate power supply.
In Proxmox, I passed through the USB device to the OpenMediaVault...
I use 9p mainly because of ZFS. ZFS over NFS uses ZFS sync.
This means the writes are completed to disk before they're written.... instead of being written into ZFS RAM. If you disabled ZFS sync over NFS, you'll will lose 5 seconds or so of writes on a power failure. No biggie, but why bother --...
On the proxmox 7.3 host, an nvidia gtx 1650 GPU with a connected monitor via HDMI.
Passthrough on windows 10 vm works fine. Two monitors are defined in the system: a physical hdmi and a virtual one. There are two monitors in the video settings, you can change the resolution, drag windows to any...
Im trying to enable pci passthrough for my proxmox node (6.4-4) which has this motherboard with a j1900 cpu. The cpu supports quicksync according to this link.
I have followed some internet guides including the proxmox one.
