Thank you for the suggestion--I downloaded their power monitoring application and after a reboot, everything seems to be working solidly! Maybe it was something with the nut drivers...
Today i checked the usb devices and it was suddenly listed. But then one part of the process of setting up nut involves unplugging and then plugging in the USB cord connected to the UPS. When I did this, I lost the connection and wasn't able to get it back. I've attached the output of dmseg--i'm...
Hi, I am trying to set up my CyberPower UPS to shutdown my Proxmox server if I lose power. I found a thread that suggests installing NUT and then doing some configuration, but I cannot get my device to show up in my usb device list. This is the output of my list:
It does not change if I...
After multiple restarts and multiple attempts at changing the IP address, I rebooted again this afternoon, and suddenly I can ping and everything works normally. I have no idea what happened or why I could not see it on my network, but anyway, this problem seems to be resolved.... Thank you for...
So I had some painters in my house this past week, and despite my instructions, they move around a bunch of my network equipment. Afterwards, I discovered that I could no longer ping my Proxmox Server. I did some troubleshooting, and thought that the network cable had been damaged, but I have...
I have a Windows 10 and Ubuntu 19.04 VM that are suddenly failing to start with the message below.
I have started these VMs dozens of times without any issue. I didn't make any changes to the configurations or anything--most of the time I am working with the half a dozen containers that I have...
I tried what you recommended with creating a script in init.d and then symlinking it to etc/rc2.d, but that did not work. I made it executable and verified I could run in from the command line, but it does not execute on startup. All I'm trying to do is run the command: expressvpn connect.
Why...
I am trying to decide the best backup plan for my ZFS array on my Proxmox host. I originally thought I would just set up a simple raspberry pi NAS with two 10TB WD drives and set them up as RAID0, but it turns out due to the 32-bit operating system, I can't get past 16TB total storage for a GPT...
So after some searching, simply running zpool import media allowed me to see the pool again! Why does it keep disappearing when I reboot? It doesn't seem like I should have to run any special commands when I boot up to get this to appear.
After a few more reboots, the command you gave me does not seem to work anymore... I run systemctl enable zfs-import-cache.service and nothing happens, and when I type zpool status I get a message that says there are no pools available. What else do I need to do? Why did it stop working?

No, not for running the expressvpn command. It worked when setting up the tun device (the other post), but not in this case or trying to run expressvpn. I'm not sure why since it is just trying to execute a command. Any other ideas?
Thank you so much! I thought it must be something simple. Why would the service not be running after a restart? Do I have to manually start it every time?
As the title says, I have created a ZFS pool with 4 8TB disks. I am able to create directories and transfer files and bind mount it to a container, but whenever I perform a reboot on the host, the ZFS pool disappears! The drives still show as being partitioned and 'unavailable', but there is no...
Thank you for your quick response! I have tried putting this in, but then the container will not start:
lxc.hook.autodev = sh -c "expressvpn connect"
But I get this error:
Hi,
I am trying to run a command within a container whenever the container starts, but I am not having success trying several different methods.
Two of the methods are using rc.local and crontab, but neither of these work.
I am simply trying to run expressvpn connect.
To get this to work...
