Importing ZFS pool to a new Proxmox Machine

I am trying to decide the best backup plan for my ZFS array on my Proxmox host. I originally thought I would just set up a simple raspberry pi NAS with two 10TB WD drives and set them up as RAID0, but it turns out due to the 32-bit operating system, I can't get past 16TB total storage for a GPT partition. (at least I think so, from what I've read online)

So I was thinking I could just set up another ZFS pool on my Proxmox host using those same two drives, and backup my data from my other ZFS pool to them. My question is: if my Proxmox install fails, and I have to reinstall everything on the bare metal again--would there be a way for me to access the ZFS pool that I had set up on those drives?

Thank you.

Hi,

You can import the ZFS pool with all Unix Systems what support ZFS at the same level of ZFS or above.
