but I don't see an IP for the debian container??? I can putty into proxmox....but how do I putty into the debian container? I should be able to set up two linux containers with desktops and be able to connect my display to either one. How do I do that?

I can get to proxmox panel using ip:8006....that's not the problem. I have a display connected to my Proxmox system. When I boot the system, the attached display comes up with the debian desktop.....however...I believe that it's the gnome desktop I added to proxmox....NOT the debian...
