Nvidia Driver upgade issue with lxc

My issue was that I had upgrade the driver on the host, which worked perfectly fine, but when I was creating the lxc I was installing an old driver which was creating a driver mismatch, what I did is not install the driver on the lxc and then the lxc used the driver from the host as that was the...

[TUTORIAL] Podman LXC with Portainer as drop-in replacement for a Docker VM/LXC

With the current prices of RAM, I tend to slim down my VM/LXC installations if at all possible. Podman is a lightweight alternative to Docker, but there are a few pitfalls I discovered. Contrary to Docker, it uses no daemon and when you install it as an LXC, it has even less footprint. There...

Nvidia Driver upgade issue with lxc

On an aside but slightly related - i have the 580.126.09 drivers installed on host, blacklisted, lxc driver installed with no dkms, etc. All working - but i'm confused as to how to update the driver package (if and when I get to that) - stop lxc, - run the install steps again on host (remove...

What are the best practices for using Windows as a Q-Device arbiter in a two-node PVE cluster?

...to replace your current qdevice with a dedicated ProxmoxBackupServer. This can be mitigated by doing a paaralel install of PVE and PBS on the same machine and installing the qdevice in a vm or lxc like described by aaron here: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/2-node-ha-cluster.102781/post-442601

Proxmox LXC container losing IP on node-reboot/container-reboot/HA-Failover

Hi, I have two quick questions to help understand the issue: Which LXC template are you using? (For example: Debian, Ubuntu, Alpine, etc., and which version.) When the issue occurs, could you check the container configuration file and share the net0 line? cat /etc/pve/lxc/<id>.conf...

Should I set CT Swap to 0 to prevent PVE host crashes during high memory usage?

Thanks for your input! That's a valid point regarding the total LXC swap usage versus the available swap on the host. I'm still not entirely sure if that's the primary cause in my case, so I'll keep investigating other possibilities as well and see how it goes. Appreciate the advice!
