Greetings. I'm looking to move from Citrix Xencenter to something else and Proxmox has been highly recommended. My current setup involves clustering of three nodes with two NAS units (TrueNAS Scale) for load balancing storage. I would like to do something identical or similar using Proxmox but haven't found a way. I researched CEPH, but it appears that only works if I use the local drives in my nodes for storage? I also found that I can connect each NAS using NFS, but that is a single point of failure. Can someone please explain if there is a way to obtain load balancing with multiple NAS units? Thank you!

U combine 2 different storage features in your question. So u should present better what is your goal and how is your citrix storage configuration at the moment. Maybe post a link about the feature of the citrix docu.

Sorry for not explaining it very well; I am new to all of this. I am told it works as a failover, so if one NAS goes down, the second NAS will take over. Hopefully that makes more sense.

Asynchron may not be the right mode for vm images I think as you want a metro config for.
