[SOLVED] Proxmox VE 7.2 WONT INSTALL on RX 6500XT/12600KF

Hey, i can't seem to get Proxmox VE 7.2 running on RX 6500XT/12600KF STUCK ON INSTALL

So nomodeset doesn't work and without nomodeset it hangs and aborts install on AMDGPU error(s) it can't seem to communicate with my RX 6500XT VGACON/VCON "*ERROR* VGACON Disables amdgpu kernel nomodeset"

What's going on?

I assume hardware is too new for the Kernel?

Cannot run framebuffermode busID

It just sounds like it might be kernel issue. Trying the 7.1 installer would get you off of version 5.15.

Yeah but it's older, i doubt it'll work

If the older version solved it... when you run updates, it's going put you on a newer kernel that might have the same problems.

I would pin the 5.13 kernel with the following command:
proxmox-boot-tool kernel pin 5.13.19-6-pve
