Creating KVM VM with nvme device in proxmox 7

Hi,
I'm using proxmox 7.1-7 as a VM host for testing linux installations.
For the emulated TPM & SecureBoot it's working great and is definitely a step up from 6 (which I use at home).
However, the target machines for these installs all have nvme drives, so I was hoping to be able to create kvm vm's where the storage devices also show up as nvme.
According to here
https://blog.christophersmart.com/2019/12/18/kvm-guests-with-emulated-ssd-and-nvme-drives/
http://blog.frankenmichl.de/2018/02/13/add-nvme-device-to-vm/
it's possible in standard kvm, but can I achieve this in proxmox?

Thanks,
Sean

So that would be something like:
Create VM with required options but don't start it.
Edit config to change storage device to nvme
Start as normal?

I want to create a VM with an emulate NVMe controller on Proxmox 7.4.13 - the current version,

My purpose is simply to test the installations of different Linux on NVMe. I remember doing this quite some time ago, probably February 2022, just the age of this post.

Someone can kindly give me some pointers if this is again possible? A little how to or similar?
